They could be better.

Don’t get me wrong. There are some good choices in Metabolism Support, however the main problem is how slim the nutrient profile is.

There simply aren’t enough ingredients to cover every base of an effective fat burner. If you’re looking to cut down, this may not be the product for you.

What’s Good?

  • Sweet Red Pepper Extract – A thermogenic that raises body heat. This causes a cool-down process that makes your body burn extra calories.
  • Caffeine – A known stimulant used to boost energy, metabolism and power output in the gym. It does its job, and it does it well.
  • Green Tea Extract – Thermogenic herb. The catechins in green tea promote your body’s fat burning hormone norepinephrine which burns more calories.

What’s Not?

  • Indole-3-Carbinol – A compound found in broccoli. Thought to help regulate hormone metabolism, but there has been no real evidence to conclude this.
  • L-Carnitine – This amino acid is great for energy and metabolism, but there’s not enough here. You need 500 – 2500mg per serving for some effective results, there’s only 100mg here.
  • Olive Leaf Extract – May promote skin health, but doesn’t do much in terms of fat loss.

Our View

On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile you can come across.

Although there are some good thermogenics here, by the likes of Green Tea and Sweet Red Pepper, there’s just not a lot of nutrients.

It’s missing appetite suppressants and thermogenics. It seems almost incomplete.

The ingredient list on the whole is pretty slim, and half of them don’t promote fat loss, or are too under-dosed to have any effect. This is definitely not the best option out there.
